The food orders are going in Tues, the 13th. Delivery will be at the church Saturday (9/14) sometime between 4:00 and 6:00 PM. Adaline will call Saturday afternoon to let you know the exact time of delivery, so you aren’t waiting at the church for a couple of hours. The food order will go to Adaline’s house, and she will deliver it to the church right away, and we will pick our orders up there. Adaline is changing the delivery place to the church because the price of gas is making it too much to drive around delivering the orders to individual homes. So hopefully starting in October the truck will deliver to the church and we will each meet the truck there or make arrangements for someone to pick up our orders.
We talked about how to assess the catalog fee ($1/month). We decided to collect it semi-annually, so next month please bring $6. If you are not going to be attending the next meeting but you are a member, please contact Adaline.
We have a new member Shaye Heiskell, and I will add her to the roster. Robin has moved and I will put her new address in the roster.
The next meeting is October 8th. We will be painting our room upstairs, so wear your paint clothes! Most of the first coat is done.
We are rotation week 3, so check the calendar on the back of your catalog for order and delivery dates.
We should finish up writing the by-laws in two or three more sessions. We are up to Article 5.
