Adaline got by-laws from the Toledo food co-op, along with an offer from them to help us in any way they can. We also have a copy of the Calumet National Foods Cooperative by-laws.
Dr. Mack has joined and placed a food order.
Today is Earth Day, and we will have a booth our at Faurot Park. MD has finished the banner stand, and Adaline has made a nice cloth banner. We won’t be selling anything, just getting the word out. Maybe we’ll get some new members.
Next weekend is the Waynesfield Business Expo, and we get a free booth, since we’re a non-profit organization. MD and I won’t be able to make it. Hopefully, someone else will.
Dr. Kay agreed to handle the Frontier orders from now on. She will let us know when we can pick up the order.
We got a good start on writing up our by-laws, using other by-laws as a framework. There is more to do, of course, but I think we accomplished a lot.
The United order will be in around the 20th.
The next meeting will be June 4th.

I’m going to print up new rosters, and I should have them ready by the next meeting.

Announcement from me (not part of the minutes)--For those who don’t know it, we have an account at Superior Credit Union under Adaline and Aimee’s names, not under Organic Buddies. When Adaline and/or Kay has figured up your order, and you know how much it’s going to be, please just make a deposit to the account at Superior. You don’t need an account number, just tell them for deposit only to Adaline Bridges’ account. I’m sure Adaline would appreciate this.
