The meeting was called to order at 9:05am by the only Officer in attendance, Barbara Wilson. She explained that while Adaline was in California, she would be acting as Chairman pro tem.
She then appointed M.D. as Secretary pro tem since the Secretary was now acting Chairman.
Copies of the current and proposed Bylaws were then passed out for later discussion.
Motion to accept the previous meeting’s minutes as posted on the website and printed for those in attendance. Made by Robin and seconded by Jeremy. Passed unanimously.
New Business: (Yes, we were doing it backwards…)
Jeremy will be making phone calls to members to remind them of meetings and to bring their Ikea bags with them.
It was noted that Aimee is STILL not getting her monthly catalogs.
Motion to formally change all wording in our documents from “Family” to “Household”; with special reference to the dues structure - now to read “$25 per Household”. Made by Jeremy and seconded by Robin. Passed unanimously.
Painting of the Organic Buddies room upstairs will take place at 1:00pm on Sunday, July 24, 2005. Everyone who can swish a brush please show up and help.
Roster Changes: Aimee has moved, so her address has changed and she is now using her cell phone but not her old landline. Also, Robin had a correction to her address.
Old Business:
Proceeded to modify the discussion text from Article 2.7 all the way through Article 3 and up to Article 4. Please see the exact verbiage on the Bylaws page of the website.
Order sharing then took place, with a wrap-up to the effect that the order will be placed on the 8th and delivery sometime after the 14th – likely the 15th or 16th.
